Welcome to Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (“RYLA”)

for Rotary District 7450, comprised of 40 Rotary Clubs in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Leadership is an essential aspect of Rotary—and we offer both clubs and programs to help emerging leaders develop their skills. Through these groups, participants strengthen their leadership skills, serve their communities, increase their world understanding, build friendships, and more.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a leadership development program run by Rotary. In District 7450, our program is focused on High School students in their Sophomore year, although exceptions are made.  Our RYLA program runs for a full day on Saturday and includes presentations, activities, and workshops that cover a variety of topics, including:

• Leadership fundamentals and ethics
• Communication skills
• Problem solving and conflict management
• Community and global citizenship

If you are a Student in Rotary District 7450 and are interested in attending RYLA, please contact your school Guidance Counselor or your local Rotary Club to inquire about sponsorship opportunities.  Please click on the “STUDENTS” tab on the top menu above.

Space is limited and applications will be approved based on the order in which complete applications and complete required documents are received.  Once all spaces are assigned, subsequent complete applications with complete required documents will be placed on a wait list.
